Summer Time!

Summer is finally here! The longer days and warmer evenings are welcoming new and returning owners and guests to R-Ranch. The cool breezes make the weather pleasurable, and the recent rains were very much appreciated by the rolling green landscape! The horses have begun their industrious summer work of three trail rides a day. They can be found relaxing in the afternoons, grazing in the pasture, and playing in the ponds. The area hot dog feeds and potlucks have resumed for the season and Pardners have been gathering together in the shade of beautiful trees to enjoy good food and great friends! School children spent the day on the Ranch for their end of school year party where they enjoyed horseback riding and swimming in the Cottonwood Pool. Families are fishing in the Headquarters pond and enjoying picnic lunches in the Memorial Gazebo. It is a lovely thing to see children laughing and playing, meeting new friends and enjoying the great outdoors.
